THE ORIGIN OF THE NAME
The room takes its name from the two castles that vizier Al-Azraq had in the Gallinera Valley: the Castell d’Alcalá de Gallinera (Benissili), which was his main residence, and the Castell de Gallinera (Benirrama) – both occupied by the Christians in 1258.
