L’Alineació

This first-floor room has the curious peculiarity of being perfectly aligned with the sun as it shines through the foradà on Valentine’s Day and on the day of Saint Sabina. It has a minibar and, of course, spectacular views of the foradà.

THE ORIGIN OF THE NAME

José Lull’s studies of the solar alignment have shown that the sun through the natural stone arch illuminates the old Franciscan convent precisely on the saint’s day of Francis of Assisi. The phenomenon has become one of the great tourist attractions of the valley.
