Alignment of the Foradà

In 2006, José Lull published a complete archaeoastronomical study on the solar alignment of the Foradà in the Gallinera Valley. This study led to the rediscovery of the phenomenon, which started with the founding of the Franciscan Convent of San Andrés del Monte in Benitaia in 1611. The solar alignment has since become one of the most important tourist attractions of the valley.
