Spring

Spring comes to the valley with the cherry blossom – a natural spectacle worth seeing. The Mountain Cherries of Alicante are a protected denominación de origen (DO) and arrive forty days later, flooding the valley with delicious ripe fruit.

At the beginning of spring, a white tide of flowers fills the fields of the valley. Afterwards, the greenery reconquers ground lost during the months of autumn and winter. It is an excellent time to enjoy the natural sensations of regeneration and joy, both in fauna and flora.
